OURS ARE THE only cabins and lodge on sparkling, spring-fed"Nahmakanta", often called Maine's most beautiful lake. Our Maine fishing camps are situated between two trout streams in a beautiful setting of tall shade trees, spacious green lawns and wild-flowers. We are surrounded by an incredible roadless backcountry preserve unlike any other in Maine. There are towering Old Growth forests, spectacular mountain overlooks, scenic gorges and dozens of clear, unspoiled lakes. We maintain hiking trails to and store canoes and boats at a dozen of these lakes with wild brook up to 5 pounds! ".....the fishing was superb! The big lake produced salmon and lake trout, and we caught brook trout in all the remote ponds. In one evening of fly fishing, we caught and released 40 to 50 brookies, all deep bright fish with many running up to one and a half pounds. Some of the best fishing of my life!
